Hi, I'm Ethan, a First-Class Mathematics graduate from the University of Birmingham averaging 81%, a Management Consultant at Capgemini Invent, and a close combat instructor at a national counter-terrorism charity.
Over the past 8 years, I have completed 4,000+ hours of maths lessons and am a specialist in teaching 11+, 13+, KS3, GCSE and A-Level (Maths & Further Maths) across all exam boards. I have taught 1,500+ lessons on a popular online tutoring website called MyTutor. You can read 160+ 5* reviews here.

At university, my dissertation analysed the evolution of distance learning and how it could have been better implemented in schools during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Lessons
Unlike most tutors, my aim is to provide a comprehensive understanding of all the topics rather than just memorising methods.
This tried and tested approach consistently enables my students to attain top grades. Starting with the free video meeting, the student and I work together to identify any key weaknesses and areas for improvement. Then, I develop a tailored plan to address these issues in a structured and effective way.
